Release notes

Every update is free for everyone who bought MDizzle.

1.0.0 · October 2026

The first release. Pay once, write forever.

• Editor, Split and Preview: write, see it side by side, or read the finished page.
• Full GitHub Flavored Markdown: tables, task lists, strikethrough, footnotes, front matter, and code blocks highlighted in dozens of languages.
• Formatting bar: bold, italic, headings, links, images, lists, quotes, tables and code in one click. It sits above the keyboard on phones.
• Six built-in themes: MDizzle (ice-blue gel, very 2001), Preview Light and Dark, Paper, Fjord and Tokyo Night. Make your own and add them with Import Theme…
• Autosave as you type, and Open Recent to get back to your files.
• Plays nicely with sync: if Dropbox, iCloud, Git or another app changes an open file, MDizzle loads the new version when you switch back, and asks first if you were mid-edit.
• Smart pairs: typing a bracket or quote adds the closing one.
• Local-first: plain files, saved where you choose. No account, no telemetry, works offline.
